In my family we are all both geeks and jocks, my comic collection is right next to my sport trophies. It can be done.

My mom indocrinated me pretty well. We watched the x-files and star trek together when I was very, very young. With my uncles being super into star wars, and an aunt landing me her collection of batman comics I never really stood a chance.
