I really enjoyed it. I thought the animation was beautiful and the trial was well executed. I think it's fascinating subject matter and they approached a unique individual in a bit of a unique way. No complaints whatsoever here.

I can't think of anything clever but I've always wanted to post first!
this was a pretty terrible episode though.

Graham Greene's finest.
I really liked this book- it was awesome. Home the movie lives up to its high standard.

OMWF vs. Commentary the Musical
Any thoughts?

At least he mentiones Annie Hall.
I've been very skeptical about this book for a long time- ever since I heard he was working on it.
I am a diehard Coupland fan and have read every book of fiction he's ever written (aside from that one that's only in Japanese or something).
Nevertheless, this seems like a strange

Set Bachman Turners to Overdrive.
I feel like I've been waiting forever for someone to use this joke. Love It.

This week on 'stupid shit Batista says'
Batista: There's a long way to go from the couch to the bed.

Thanks team. I kinda liked this episode- but you're right the Make Em Laugh was totally soul-less.
It wasn't funny- it was polished and rigid. Nothing felt natural. It reeked of effort and lacked anything organic and well- funny which is the whole fucking point of the song.

Similar Authors?
So I'm sorta going through a bit of a boring spell with books lately- AVClub always has good movie/TV ideas for me, but not always so with books.
This is next on my list, but I'm wondering if anyone has some recommendations- something similar to/like Nicole Krauss's work?

Agreed with HAL. Man walks into a Room is an EXCELLENT book, but History of Love is definitely the place to start.

Batista Says…
"I'm stuck between a rock and my wife."

Doublemeat Palace is officially the worst Buffy episode of all time.
I'd rather watch Bag Eggs and Ted and Beer Bad and that weird ventriloquist one a hundred times before watching Doublemeat Palace again.
I have nothing else bad to say about Season Six- the rest of the season my friends, is awesome.

O'Neals
Don't laugh at me but I'm not quite up to date with celebrity gossip.
Last time I can recall Ryan O'Neal and Tatum O'Neal was in Paper Moon-
Anyone care to update me on the last 37 years? From this article it sounds a bit tumultuous.

Previously On SPOILER.

Senator Daniel Perrin. Such a good roll for Denisoff. I was so excited to see him in that. And the whole HIMYM appearance was good too but makes sense cause of their marriage.

Who is it versus?
David, I really liked the way you sorta implied that Charlie 'won' the episode.
The more I think of it, isn't each Sunny episode like a little competition- sometimes who can succeed or sometimes who can be the most depraved.
I think a neat little addition to these weekly reviews would be to announce a

So, personally I'm a subtitle fan, but I understand some are not.
But aside from America the rest of the world has created a pretty acceptable solution.
it's called DUBBING.
and in most countries rather than remaking an entire film, they just redub the soundtrack with voices of famous people.

Elementary School Musical.
This title sounds really farmiliar…I wonder why?
Maybe because it's already the title of an SP episode.
…been waiting forever to say this…

I wish Yo Teach was a show rather than this. It could have been awesome.

His name is Bruce.
Despite the lukewarm review I still really want to see Trigger.
Bruce McDonald is a pretty incredible director and does weird/experimental/new take on old story pretty well.
Case and point: Pontypool and the Tracey Fragments.
