Usually when my body finishes self defensively puking as a response to the endless cavalcade of tepid one liners, I'll look up at the TV and if there aren't too many tears in my eyes I'll sometimes remark "Wow, the cinematography is just gorgeous!" Sometimes I'll only make it through like half the sentence because

Oh man, @avclub-bc68599029928a93ff775e686c3be325:disqus's got Renaissance Fair written all over him.

Yeah, there's a lot of clarification needed here.

It's not a great song.  I'm still hopeful they'll manage some interesting B Sides.

I also absolutely love Soundgarden, and I'm mixed about this.  Matt Cameron and Ben Shephard's post Soundgarden projects have delivered tons of good songs, but I can't help but feel like Cornell (who's responsible for at least half of the songwriting on each album) really spent the last decade and a half growing

Sometimes when I go through the comments of SNL episodes, I feel genuinely like I'm watching a different show from everybody else.  I thought this was a genuinely good episode that really delivered after the utterly abysmal second half of last season.

Remember when the internet rallied to get Cookie Monster to be the host and SNL was like "Nah, viral attention getting movements aren't important to respond to" and blew it off?  I wonder what changed NBC's minds, because I'm sure as shit it wasn't common sense.
