Grad Students are the Worst

Are Bad Brains still good live?  I love them, but I really hate seeing my favorite punk bands play slowed down, wrinkly covers of songs they wrote as teenagers.

My whole brain is smiling!

Isn't that what those computer commercials were about anyways? You practically smell the sexual tension between those two.

Oh god, the Young Turks is like the internet equivalent of getting trapped at a party with that friend of a friend you have who's also liberal, but he's liberal in the way that he just tries to say something witty about Republicans a la The Daily Show so that you'll roll your eyes with him, but he's also not really

I've thought this exactly a number of times.  I'd love to see what Community would look like on premium cable with no limits placed on them by the network on what they could say or do.

All this wordplay is giving me a headache!

Interesting.  Hodgman is by far my least favorite Daily Show correspondent and I hated those awful Mac ads, and I actually can't remember liking him in anything I've seen him in. Also, Michael K Williams hasn't had time to find a natural place in the cast yet, so adding a character from his past this may or may not

I'm actually still holding out hope for her to get together with Jeff.  Ideally, Jeff and Annie would date for a little while so that Annie can realize everything she thinks is mysterious and exciting about him is actually just vapidity and self absorption.  The aftermath would then burn the last bridge he had with

Also, why is Chang so annoying??

Oh god, I never even realized it, but that's exactly how I'd picture a real life, adult Todd Flanders.  Do you suppose naming him Todd is a Simpsons reference?

There's no emoticon in the entire lolspeak language that can fully illustrate the anguish I'm in, but here's my best attempt:

Then I guess he'll be responsible for making two things that I like worse?

Grad students are pretty awful, and while Shirley is certainly no Troy, I have a soft spot for her.  Brown's acting talents really shine through in any scene where she gets confronted seriously and has to respond severely, but that doesn't always lend itself well to comedy.

I'm not sure which gender pronoun to use when trying to describe dalmatians.

From the utter sadness of it all?

I was really hoping it would take until season 6 for that to happen.

You don't think he'll die a glorious death in the line of security guard duty?

I keep waiting for the return of Season 1 Chang, which I thought was absolutely perfect.  Chang really works when he's Draconian 90% of the time and desperate and needy 10% of the time.  Seasons 2 and 3 reversed those proportions, which is really unfortunate.

He's not exactly necessary, but I mostly want to see Dino Stamatopoulos getting regular work and leading a happy life for virtue of the relentless schadenfreude he mustered up during Season 2 of Morel Orel.
