Why don't they call it "Everybody hates Raymond?"
Why don't they call it "Everybody hates Raymond?"
Unless there's a rich post feminist subtext to whatever I'm watching, I pretty much just tune it out.
Once you see it, you never unsee it. I don't know how many other cities can boast having a skyline that makes millions of people think of clitorises.
Why does this joke come up even when it's a good Inventory? There's no reason we should be talking about the one lint covered gummy bear, torn ticket stub to Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, and expired condom in VanDerWerff's pockets right now!
Now are you boys gonna buy some wigs, or ain't cha?
(Cut to Sean O'Neal in a bright pink bob sitting on a curb)
Wow! What a firstie!
Yeah, I didn't know terribly much about their backstory beyond that they have youtube to thank for their stardom. For as ridiculous as having internet fame somehow become real fame, though, I'd certainly rather see ordinary people who are talented get on SNL rather than LDR, who's famous because evil record industry…
Count me in. I've been waiting for ages to be able to out on a fedora and not feel like a D Bag.
I know, right? I actually got kind of excited at the beginning of that sketch because I thought they were playing exactly to her strengths, but they made her the straight man instead.

KNIFE!
I just looked this up and sort of fell in love with Ryder all over again.
Are we talking about different Nic Cages? http://www.youtube.com/watc…
They all want crabs but there aren't going to be any crabs!
I genuinely dislike Karmin's songwriting, but they were in time, in tune, and I didn't hear any major gaffes during the parts of their set I listened to. If my taste in music were different, I would have had no reason not to like Karmin, so they get a by from me as performers. In short, they were a far cry from Lana…
Iran is basically Sri Lanka in the sense that I'm pretty neither country is to be trusted. Also I can't find either on a map.
That voice doesn't even sound terribly much like how Bjork actually sounds, but it's perfect for the character, which I love.
Yeah, he really is quite a good actor in the right role. He's sort of earned the status of walking punchline from taking roles like Wicker Man, but I'll always remember him for Adaptation or Raising Arizona instead of Ghostrider.
Yeah, I thought the same thing. Usually that sketch is everything What's Up With That is going for, in the sense that it pulls out all of the stops and has a bunch of wild episodes throughout the sketch. It just seemed a little flat this time, but I usually love it.
I didn't really feel like the sketch tore her persona apart so much as it poked gentle fun at her. I wouldn't have hated it if they told jokes that were a little more biting about Deschanel's persona, which I think is extremely mockable, but such is SNL.
Yeah, I thought the same thing. The "actor talking to themselves" premise is a pretty reliable one, but it gets exhausting twice in a row.
