I see The AV Club waited until after Case's performance at AV Club Fest to post this review.

No casual sexism here, please. Put a cork in it!

I said "near" dammit!

Todd, I can't believe you think the fifth season is the best season of this show. I was under the impression that it was near universally agreed that the second season is the best.

Such a severe lack of season three episodes on that list. Season two was the season's best show, but season three is easily the second best, and also where the show ends in my mind. I didn't need Jim and Pam's engagement or marriage or any of the other storylines that followed; Jim bursting in on Pam's talking head

UGH

I was about to post this; what an egregious mistake, fix it quick Phil!

Really? I must be looking at different critic lists, 'cause I never see it mentioned.

Clouds Taste Metallic is the most underrated Flaming Lips record WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT?

Ray Wise is a national treasure

Dads are boring

Milk Music is the shit, can't wait for their album this year

These dudes are really falling off, this album is bad bad bad. Open Your Heart wasn't too great, but definitely had its moments. I know The Men of Immaculada and Leave Home are gone, and they're badly missed.

Guys, I like video games; Jack White thinks I don't have a soul.

Harsh words from the completely strapped-for-cash Black Keys.

@Eyeballman Haha, yeah, but The Residents are way into satire. I wouldn't be surprised if they did that specifically to make fun of the kind of stuff The Flaming Lips have been doing recently (well okay, that and boxed sets in general).

Clouds Taste Metallic is better than Yoshimi and Embryonic.

I think he said the opposite.

I'm not sure that that's true. It's true that at the beginning of their career they had sorta crazy live shows (a different sort of crazy), but they're the first to admit that they were just ripping off the Butthole Surfers. Michael Ivins also points out that they used to play really, really loud and do all of that

I think I speak for all Flaming Lips fans when I say: The Terror had better be amazing, because I've been putting up with this gimmicky shit for four fucking years now.
