That's exactly what I want from the show.
That's exactly what I want from the show.
I really want to love Nashville because I absolutely love the cast (Connie Britton, y’all.) and the music feels like it’s from another world – in the best way. But everything on this show feels contrived and forced – nothing feels earned or organic. This show has no respect for its history and it just creates events…
I enjoyed the first two episodes of the show, but I think it's this episode that has hooked me to the show.
We'd all watch that. (Can we add Vampire Katherine, too?)
I guess I'm just gonna pretend that the actual pilot of the show is the backdoor pilot — which happens to be one of my favorite Vampire Diaries episodes from season 4 and one of my favorite episodes in 2013 (Don't judge me.) I loved the authenticity of that episode — how it felt completely Gothic and bohemian. And…
"Conversely, put Kate in a Modern Family hand-me-down, and Trophy Wife needs a little something extra to stand out." This is EXACTLY how I feel about the show at the moment.
There's a uniqueness about Trophy WIfe that I enjoy - its quirky characters, mainly - but its predictable, broad plots are overshadowing that. Malin Akerman is still headlining the show beautifully, though. Her performance is one of my favorite things about the series.
Especially since he asked her if she's told anyone at all — and the dude is RIGHT THERE. That was so epic.
I kind of want her to be his daughter because everyone is so sure she's not his daughter because it's too on the nose. So if she *is* his daughter, that would be surprising. (Did that make sense at all?)
I think what we learned from The Following (and are learning from The Blacklist) is that the FBI is, basically, stupid.
I think that's my biggest problem with the show. FIX MEGAN BOONE'S HAIR.
This show is very on-the-nose and is very, very stupid at times. I feel like I wanna scream at the writers to open up their eyes because their storytelling is very lazy. But for some reason I'm still watching the series. Maybe it's because of Boone and Spader's chemistry? That must be it — because I cannot find any…
I honestly did not hate the premiere (I didn't love it either, though.) There's something about James Spader that makes him very intriguing and I can't think of anyone better to play his part. The show has nothing original going for it. It uses many TV tropes and is sometimes very predictable. It tells us more than it…
I hope so, too. I don't understand how Katherine Heigl won an Emmy for being on Grey's Anatomy but Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson, and Sara Ramirez haven't yet. It honestly makes no sense (and is very infuriating.)
Sure. I get that. I just don't get being a jerk and lying about it and then not even being sorry for it. But, yeah, I see your point.
I honestly thought I could end this episode without weeping like a baby, and by minute 30, I was sure the premiere would break the streak of crying during every single episode. It didn't. When Ryan proposed, I couldn't hold the tears anymore.
I really enjoyed the interaction between Penny and Sheldon in the first half of the premiere. I honestly believe she and Amy are the only people who genuinely love Sheldon and are willing to put up with his crap (even when they're annoyed.) Sure, there's also Leonard — which brings me to how much I dislike Leonard and…
Yep. I see it now. At least Jo's much more likable than Izzie. And hopefully she won't tear Alex's heart apart the way Izzie did.
Yeah. Plus, it wasn't in the Fall schedule. But I'm hoping that if there are enough views and comments, they might rethink it and actually cover the show. *crosses fingers*
I don't get the similarity to Izzie. She reminds me more of Lexie.
