Im seriously not trying to turn this into a Big Lebowski conversation.
I saw 1776 a couple of years ago at Ford's Theater, with David Huddleston, otherwise known as the Big Lebowski, in the Franklin role. Can you believe its been thirteen years since that movie came out?

bunch of dicks acting like dicks. bob mould speaks when bob mould wants!

fuck that shit. That last Sugar album was a bit pussy, but the earlier material was great, muscular, anything but "weak ass," alt rock. Not as good as Husker Du though.

ugh… god… i looked up that Girl in the Cafe movie thinking maybe it was some kind of masturbation material based on Kjb1 sentiments above, but having read this tagline i will give it a quick pass:
"Love can't change what's wrong in the world. But it's a start."

Flashman. Poor poor Flashman.

True Story
When we were kids back in the mid -80s, my brother and I had stuffed animals named Puffy and Biggie. I used to work at an Eckard's photolab and every day they would play Bowie's 'Golden Years' and Prince's 'When You Were Mine.' Both real major label artists for sure but not exactly

not that im defending 'the suburbs' in any way, or really care, but since when is Merge a "major?"

gah! i love deep cuts ans will not abide this disrespect. as much as i thought i would like silent shout, it seems like they just kind of tacked on the scary and all they really wanted to do was make another pop album.

Live is, without a doubt, the worst band of all time.

i can draw her nekkid with 3 titties

Sometimes a Great Notion
Just saw this movie a week ago…. not a great movie, but the ending totally redeems it. Totally. It's incredible. Worth the 2 hrs to watch what's kind of a maudlin union tearjerker just to get to that moment of greatness.

you know
how when you were in art class and the teacher said to place the eyes close to the middle of the head? well this is why.

Once, while working at a drug store when i was 16, i went out back for an illicit underaged cigarette. In the trash can, right on top was the sports page, and not being opposed to sports coverage i picked it up. The weight of the section was a bit off and when i opened it up i found a frsh copy of a porn mag called

Bjork and Prince. Spot on. kind of.

She's kind of incomparable… she's actually got originality and ambition, something sorely lacking in her contemporary female musicians…
Watch those youtubes above and add the Cloudbusting video and you'll know if she's for you.
