The drums always impressed me as being really good.

I saw "Dune" in the theatre when it came out, and considering I was born in 1981 … yeah, that freaked me out.

I was into anime in high school (mid 90s) but never liked evangelion. Never was much into mecha though. I think my favorite anime in high school was 3x3 Eyes. If the author is too young to have watched "The State" in its original run, that probably explains the omission of Flying Circus. I don't think Flying Circus has been shown as much in syndication as Kids in the Hall has.
