Little Nicky
I've read all of the comments and don't think anyone has mentioned this. I am not an Adam Sandler fan, or even an "Adam Sandler plays against type" fan (I thought "Punch Drunk Love" was barely okay), but I really like "Little Nicky" and have actually seen it several times even though generally I'm not

The drums always impressed me as being really good.

I saw "Dune" in the theatre when it came out, and considering I was born in 1981 … yeah, that freaked me out.

I haven't heard of the game since the mid-90s. I never played it, but considering that at that time like every nerd boy at my school* wanted to date me … yeah, I heard about it/saw people playing it all of the time.

I'm pretty sure that "type of mint" is called shiso here: I see people cooking with it on Top Chef/Food Network shows fairly often.

My husband likes Steely Dan more than I do, but still doesn't understand why I like "Deacon Blues" as much as I do.

I never saved anything for the swim back

masturbating would probably work out just as well.

That was the show where people randomly got "slimed," right? I refused to watch it as a child just for that reason.

I was into anime in high school (mid 90s) but never liked evangelion. Never was much into mecha though. I think my favorite anime in high school was 3x3 Eyes. But my last real hurrah with anime was collecting all of the original series of Fushigi Yugi, which I did in my freshman year of college, I think.

I thought that guy was like Domonic too. So weird.

I'm sure there are actually young people who get odd phones at vintage/thrift stores. I didn't think "Juno" was an especially good movie, but I don't think that a hamburger phone automatically equals "fictional world." I saw a rainbow-shaped phone (yes, I am aware that rainbows and hamburgers are different things)

Wait, what?
So if Leno is leaving, why would Conan still leave? That makes no sense as Conan would no longer be pushed to a later timeslot if Leno left. Oh well. I have to go to bed between 10 and 11 anyway for work (and if I stay up later than that on weekends it's because I'm going out), haven't seen an episode of

Price is Right kicks ass (less so now that it has Drew Carey, but still), so what's your point?

I guess it's a bit annoying when people wear scarves in non-cold-weather situations, but isn't it a bit extreme to not listen to a band because of one clothing choice? I mean, Nirvana is popular again now, and Kurt Cobain wore some really silly stuff ….

If the author is too young to have watched "The State" in its original run, that probably explains the omission of Flying Circus. I don't think Flying Circus has been shown as much in syndication as Kids in the Hall has.

I dunno, Regis seems genuinely nice and smart to me. Leno does not.

Weird … someone earlier in the comments said that it was blue when they saw it.

Deus, I hope you went to the Buddy Holly museum while you were in Lubbock ….

Not sure what's wrong with "leaving the legwork to others." I'd personally prefer that these authors report accurately on various research outcomes … it's not like one person could do all of the different kinds of research that the book describes, because there is a wide range, so it's kind of necessary that the
