I wanted to go to Old Navy to buy pants, but it was closed. And I lived in Austin, so there was no reason.

???
Why did they decide to have an episode yesterday, with no warning? I was watching a stupid Antiques Roadshow best-of rerun, and Man Vs Wild in the Arctic circle. Would much rather have watched this … now I'm gonna have to watch it online in much crappier resolution ….

Lemur - are you sure you're not thinking of Presbyterians? The idea that you're talking about is a Calvinist thing that Lutherans aren't a part of. Not disagreeing that Christianity is ridiculous in a broader sense, but your specific point of critiscism doesn't apply to Lutherans.

My favorite Yoko songs (since edked asked):

I also confused this and "the road" when I saw my first ad for it - someone with a big shaggy head carrying a boy ….

Definitely still independent video/DVD places in Austin.

I'm a shrink (of sorts - School Psychology) and I hated that movie. I didn't identify with either dude.

My husband was like, "Who's that guy? I don't remember him being on the show."

annoyed that …
… I missed this episode, of all episodes. Guess I'll be watching it online all blurry on sidereel ….

you're in … Abilene? Wait, I think they have 3 movie theatres (or at least did when I was there for grad school a couple of years back, if you count the dollar theatre).

huh? most critics don't like it? It has the highest metacritic scores I've ever seen!

my house burned down in september. seems like every movie we've seen since then has had a burning house (including this one).

I know there are fat people who are good dancers . . .
. . . so it's kind of annoying that there aren't any on this show now (Yessy [sp?] who auditioned in seasons past would be an example).

They reminded me of Tom Bombadil with their unconcern with the war and destruction and all. I dont' care if everything's gonna end, sit down and have some tea . . . .

yes, that was an awfully cheesy/silly scene. no, I'm not going to stop watching the show because of it.

yeah, over_educated, I thought that was crap too. Just one of those conventions of TV shows where people act really stupid just so something needed can happen in the plot.

I really like Burger King's fish sandwich.

I think there are still some Schlotzky's left in Austin (Texas) and the surrounding area, since that's where the chain originated.

No love for "Summer in the Crypt?"

Okay, I'm answering Sugar Tits a month later . . . I am in Galveston, TX.
