Who did turn out to be the arsonist? Everyone keeps mentioning it but I completely forgot that happened.

So like $50 a kill, because there's no way he uses their cards.

I think the timeline with Deb being drugged by that drink her boss gave her doesn't work. There was a whole scene in that guy's house where she seemed 100% in control plus the stuff in the storage locker where she didn't seem drugged. Maybe it was slow acting but it doesn't make a lot of sense.

I thought the episode was okay. Deb killing El Sapo is interesting as was Vogels. Although both storylines seem  really obvious. Deb is turning into a vigilante and at some point this season Vogels is going to try to convince Dexter to kill her. Michael C Hall's acting seemed weirdly hammy tonight though. Maybe I just

Yeah, we know that but you have to figure Vogels can't possibly know about that so she probably assumes Dexter killed Doakes to protect his identity as the Bay Harbour Butcher.

I assumed that Dexter thought she was the killer (and therefore was) during his convo with Matthews. Also, why the fuck is Matthews back? He retired years ago, were they to cheap to find another actor?

I think she could be interesting but I really hated when she said that Dex can't kill her because she doesn't fit the code. Dexter had a whole arc either last season or the season before where he decided the code didn't matter. He's had at least a half dozen kills which don't fit the code, including Doakes who she

The review grade for this changed like 3 times today, right? I feel like I'm imagining things.

The Work Outing also allowed me to fully articulate why I can't get into Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, etc. "What are we doing Roy? This isn't us. It takes place in the PAST."

Yeah, I have zero idea of what to make of this show. It blurs the lines between scripted and reality so much. I'm not sure it has value as a scripted show (especially considering the glut of crime shows on tv) but it's way too scripted for me to invest in any of the characters or the game itself.

Soldiers don't wear big American flags. Americans don't shoot Americans all the time because they can say WTF?! over the radio. But Paul was a private contractor so it's possible he (and a team) went in, saw guys with guns, killed them and didn't find out they were American until after.

It's super weird that Lucas Neff plugged his own kickstarter on TVDW's tweet. He realises it's the exact same thing, right?

Most of the people who write about the show online are former contestants and even they make fun of everything and point out how fake the love is.

I can't believe the AV Club's readership doesn't like this. It's the holy grail of snark, even former Bachelorettes write about the show with snark.

I am stunned that anyone was aware of who Maslany was. Even in the threads here on AV Club it feels like 5 people watch Orphan Black. Great to see she's getting some much deserved recognition though.

Lots of people hate the show for various reasons (mostly that the characters are pretty unlikeable) but the hate lingers because critics are always talking up Girls so much. People don't like being told that they hate one of the best shows on tv because it makes them feel stupid and critics double down on their love

WTF?! She's in this thread guys. She just followed @TheAVClub on Twitter. Everybody hide their wangs.

I'd say 0.5, Dave is probably the only one I could see disappearing any time soon.

Get him boys, he's on to the fact that discrete maths is just an excuse for Maths and CompSci majors to watch porn together.

Well, she did do anal in her very first scene, cutting her value as a porn star in half on day 1.
