Yeah he was all gold and 100% machine and the power of friendship saved him. Stupid. I don't like Devin Grayson or Phil Jimenez all that much so i was guaranteed not to like that book.

Cyborg is my four-year-old's favorite superhero thanka to the Teen Titans Go cartoon. I find it kind of hilarious that his personality on the show is "loud goofball" considering how mopey he was throughout New Teen Titans. Remember that JLA /Titans book where Cyborg turned into some kinda space robot?

Lyrics Freak says "conscience-laden" but come on. That's fucking stupid.

I read them. They were pretty forgettable. They weren't as bad as Buffy season 8 ended up but nothing really memorable either (no racist dracula or giant kaiju slayers for example ). I would put them on par with the lesser Dark Horse star wars, or those army of darkness comics. Its nice to see the characters again

I watched most of the series without paying attention thanks to TNT and their 7am reruns. Same thing with Supernatural

We did a Buffy/Angel watch in broadcast order and it was amazing how quickly Angel became the better of the two shows. By the end of the first season Angel was just killing it. Its probably my favorite genre show.

The soundtrack to junior year. Ti yime to take herrr hooomme her diz zy head is con tem plat ting

Amazing soundtrack to an amazing movie.

The songs are awesomely weird but they don't fit the movie at all. I still love them as Batman 1989 is my favorite movie of all time.

That is a good song. I like it in the movie when Selina and Bruce are slow dancing. Very moody.

I love the part where he throws the whatever then points to the bullseye carved into his head and goes "ah?" That kills me.

That sounds….complicated. Too bad, I would really enjoy reading a straight-up throwback X-Men book, but then again they were all about the crossovers in the 90s so its thematically on point.

I loved Spider-Man so much that i have tricked my brain into thinking that Hero is a catchy, enjoyable song.

I bought a Heavy Metal Moebius special that was basically the Incal and some short strips. I got it for less than 20 bucks on Ebay, they probably printed a lot of them.

I don't read any marvel in floppies these days… will a book like X-Men 92 make sense in trade, divorced from the other Secret War books?

He did a Batman story called Ego, i think? I don't know where it's collected but it was pretty good

All i remember from this movie is that every guy on my floor in the freshman dorm thought casper had a punchable face, and the "i have no legs" guy.

I picked up everything you just listed when i worked at a bookstore that sold old comics 2 for a dollar (3 for a dollar with my discount!) . There was a lot of interesting stuff dumped out there among the dreck, just like the black and white boom of the 80s.

I was working on some kind of unifying Batman theory where the comic borrows from movie genres that are popular at the time. 1940s= noir, 1950s = sci fi, 70's= kung fu, Today = Saw and torture porn. It kind of falls apart when you think about it for more than three seconds but I stand by it.

Oh and Mignola will always get me to look, whether he's drawing or writing.
