I was really hoping Cloverfield would spark a resurgence in giant reptile monster movies. It didn't.

I hated being single. Whenever I was between relationships all the mental energy that would have gone towards comics, movies, internet discussion threads, Lost, etc, was all concentrated towards OMG I GOTTA GET LAID ASAP. It's just too much work.
To watch musicians perform?
I like the swing revival. I was into that stuff the same time as the 90's surf revival and also stuff like Rev. Horton Heat and Hepcat. There was a lot of "retro" music in the late '90s that was really good.
Plus it's just a rewrite of Hey Pachuco.
It's a scientific fact that the late 90's produced the world's best pop music.
I graduated high school in 1996 and let me tell you that was music. Not like the crap you kids listen to today.
Yeah, they shoulda just stuck with Reservoir Dogs.
I also can't believe that precocious lil' Juno knew who the Melvins were but never heard of Sonic Fucking Youth
Meadow's a cool chick.
A little different and awesome
Metallica Punk
I gotta disagree with Punk Jesse being at odds with Metallica Jesse. I see "punk" teenagers rocking 80's metal tees all the time. Ironically, I guess.
I'm not a fan of the first couple seasons of DS9. By the end though it was my favorite Star Trek ever.
After that he can do DS9! Or at least the good seasons of DS9…
El Santo speaks truth
I'm a huge fan of those Jonny Quest issues, and I've only ever seen like half an episode of the cartoon. Dave Stevens, Steve Rude, Wendy Pini, Mark Hempel, Adam Kubert doing great kids comics.
So it's not distracting like Neal Adams' recolored Batman stuff?
Buffy The Vampire Slayer is my wife's Star Wars, and she thought Dr. Horrible was "meh." I thought it was OK.
I didn't think #81 was that bad, although that could be because I was too busy geeking out over the Starman references to notice the lack of story.
Hellbilly Deluxe was decent, I thought. The rest of the solo Zombie, meh.
also Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Love that record
