I think the NONSENSICAL BOLDING of random WORDS in comics is a holdover from the bad old days, when they were printed on shitty newsprint and dialogue could be hard to read. With today's modern lettering techniques and schmancy paper you're less likely to see it.

What assistance could someone possibly offer you? You can't read dialogue when certain words are in bold. You can't interpret pictures. I'd guess that comic books aren't for you.
