Yeah- that FCBD book was pretty to look at but didn't make much sense to a newcomer.

CHRONIC TOWN FTW

Chronic Town is my favorite REM record, followed by Reckoning. Murmur has some great songs, but its too self-consciously weird for me to fully get behind.

The Flame is awesome and you know it.

Unfuckwithable through Automatic and about half of Monster. They've had great moments since, but also some cringy mis-steps.
