You should get a new shop.
You should get a new shop.
Not in this decade. Most comics are written with the inevitable trade in mind these days, and often the monthly installments suffer because of it.
They put out a hardcover Deadman collection a few years ago. I saw it at a convention for $35 but didn't buy it because I'm stupid.
$4 in the US
I'd take The Aquabats over any jam band any day.
Batman and Robin
Joel Schumaker's Batman and Robin, and the song "How Bizarre" will always make me think of being a cashier at the 5 & 10. And that is why I love them.
Not that there's anything wrong with that
The TV's in Esperanto
The fragmented storytelling comes from the weekly nature of the book- the gimmick was that all of these storylines were happening in real time, hence the "52" of the title.
52 was fantastic. In no way would I call that book a "mess."
Cheap Seats
I hate those two assholes.
That's definitely the best episode Friends ever had. How I Met Your Mother owes this show a LOT…
Hey, be fair. Jason Goes To Hell had the best opening sequence in the entire series! (Jason vs SWAT Team)
Please don't rattle off those bands.
Don't be stupid. There's a lunch table of kids at my school who are all fans of My Chemical Romance. They define themselves and their group by their love for Gerard Whatshisnuts. Sounds dumb, but I see very little difference between them and the Cure Freaks back when I was in junior high.
Lady Ga Ga
"Dizzy" is fucking solid. Show some respect.
The Marvel Adventures line may be exactly what you're talking about, jamesaction. Old-school, standalone superhero adventures that don't talk down to the kids (unlike the "Super Friends" or "Tiny Titans" garbage that DC shits out).
Talk about a loaded question. When did you stop beating your wife, Raindog?
Also, fuck the Local Comics Shop. Adapt or die.
