Well that was a douchey thing to say. I dont know who this Vonnigut is but he sounds like an Elitist Hipster Douche and I hope he dies in an AIDSCancerFire.

That's a good irony
Zetes is right! No true Simpsons fan complains about the show on the Internet
Yeah, the proposal scene was ridiculous. Not a good episode.
How is this episode "tossing continuity out the window"? They went to the Springfield Squidport, for pete's sake.
Oh man, I frickin love the Travis McGee series. I went through a Travis phase similar to what Leonard's Destroyer obsession (it helped that my mom already had most of the books).
Yup, Channel 7.
ER Theater
My parents were really into ER, but I couldn't stand Carter so I didn't watch with them. Then when I was in college the local ABC station would show "ER Theater" at like 2 AM and show two episodes back-to-back. Somehow watching the show in the middle of the night was better than following the new…
I discovered MOAM? in college too. I don't listen to them much anymore, but they will always be in my top-five favorite bands. Hearing them (and several other bands in that late-90's surf revival) was one of those "HOLY SHIT" moments. This music was made just for me, nobody else.
I just got this album and have yet to listen to it. Now I'm all psyched
American Dad
I hate when cartoon characters comment on how shitty the plot is. That's why I can't stand the Linguo episode of the Simpsons.
You are interested in the unknown… the mysterious. The unexplainable. That is why you are here. And now, for the first time, we are bringing to you, the full story of what happened on that fateful day. We are bringing you all the evidence, based only on the secret testimony, of the miserable souls, who survived this…
We are all interested in the future, for that is where you and I are going to spend the rest of our lives. And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future.
Nobody, Cultural Reference? Are you from Canada or something?
Sheldon's Flash costume is better than mine. His has the built-in muscles.
I'm with you Noel. Inconceivable. F-
You're insane. Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase was great.
Consider me a douchebag then, because this episode blows by any season's standards. This one is a dud just like the Bible Stories episode and the Washing A Hobo On A Train To Delaware episode.
The worst thing about it is that today all the high school kids are downloading Conway Twitty into their Ipods to be, like, ironic.
What an oddly specific reference.
