hey what's the deal with area codes?
I see lots of young punker types with tatoos of their area code. What's up with that?

I went to Wegmans once because my landlord gave me a gift certificate. It was Wal-Mart for "foodies". Blech.

I always liked that about the show. Hallie Lowenthal and Jordan Catalano were almost always referred to by their full names. One of those realistic-but-not-really touches that made this show so good.

Why does this movie exist?
The Cartoon Network cartoon shorts already told the story of the Clone Wars, and with better character designs. The cartoons were better than Episode 1 and 2.

Except maybe for Malcolm X, that list is pretty accurate. I had to read Anne Frank and Metamorphosis in mid 90's public school too.

Superman/Batman, assorted X-Men books, a long run on Superman, Ultimates 3, Onslaught Reborn…all sucked.

I love those books. You won't find a bigger fan of Dark Victory, Long Halloween, Superman for all Seasons, or the Marvel "color" books than me. But anything I've read by Loeb without Tim Sale has been garbage.

Dude. Jeph Loeb is a hack of the highest order. If you've ever read anything by him you've liked, it's because of the genius of Tim Sale. Or Jim Lee if you liked Hush.

I loved this episode.
Anybody else get goosebumps with the BadWolf stuff at the end? I love this show.

Not as good as Doom Patrol or Hellboy, I hasten to add, but very much along those lines. It's much better than you'd expect from that guy.

Frank Miller is still awesome. Dark Knight Strikes Again wasn't my cup of tea, but it was inventive and took risks with the characters which is more than you can say for most DC books…same with All-Star Batman. I will say the Spirit movie looks awful though.

Umbrella Academy
This book was surprisingly cool. It reads like Morrison Doom Patrol meets Hellboy.

The car jacker scene does not work at all. The other parts are acceptable if you mentally substitute her dialogue with "UUUHHHHHNNNN."

Cloverfield
The partygoing youths in Cloverfield were much hipper than these kids.
