I get that, but Alkaline strikes me as extra-creepy. Something about their deadpan delivery just gets to me in a way the bellowing Danzigs of the world can't.

What're the lyrics like this time out? My big problem with this band in the past was that some of their songs are just too creepy for me to get into. I'm a wuss I guess.

The singer to that band looks like a Dick Tracy villain.

I actually thought the Krakow/ Angela relationship was one of the more realistic aspects of the show. Basically she is totally unaware of his existence, unless she needs something from him.

I like that weird bass sound in the theme music. It's that type of acoustic-electric bass that sounds like whales humping.

Injury to the eye
That's the one classic horror theme that I just cannot stomach. You know that movie "Zombie"? I literally ran out of the room like a four-year-old girl when the eye scene started.

i started tivo'ing x-files reruns
It sucks when they're knee-deep in 'mythology' episodes and you don't know what the eff is going on. I need to try to catch it from the beginning.

anybody who would admit to being starstruck by John Flansburgh is a-ok in my book.

is directed by John Landis and stars the cast of Psych. If that episode sucks then I'm done with this series.
