It's funny you mention the throat thing because I believe Nolan actually digitally altered Bale's voice in TDK/TDKR to make it lower and deeper. Bale originally used his own voice in BB, but it was apparently murder on his throat.

1. Man of Steel cost $55 million more to make than Thor and Cap. Even if
you don't do the "double the budget = line to be profitable" math,
that's a big difference.
2. Man of Steel opened way bigger, but then
fell off way faster. It could indicate that people felt similar about it
as the commentariat here did. (I…
I watched the first two seasons, and I'd say it was marginally better. It never hit the lows of the first 6-8 episodes or so, but it also wasn't really worth watching, apart from just having actors I enjoy.
Didn't Chadwick Boseman recently strongly hint that he was going to be playing Black Panther?
14 year-old me loved that soundtrack. On a related note, 14 year-old me hadn't gained that essential quality known as "good taste" yet.
I'm usually all for keeping coaches longer, but I definitely wanted to have a party after finding out Mike Brown was fired yesterday.
I believe the homeless guy didn't actually say "Draft Manziel". He just made the money gesture, and Haslam figured the guy meant Manziel. (Full disclosure: I got that joke from a friend.)
I've asked one of them, but he didn't remember her at all. Part of the problem is we were by ourselves for a long time when we were talking.
Since everyone already seems to have covered my thoughts on your predicament, I'll just continue with my fairly trivial question for Idiot Sauvage:
Tim Meadows does have some great lines in the movie though:
I noticed the same thing. I went to the 12:00 non-Imax, non-3D showing on Saturday afternoon thinking it would be less crowded (since I was going alone), but it was at least 80% full. There was a decent amount of kids/families at my theater.
As someone who was raised Catholic, one of our sermons when I was in high school was about that movie and made it clear that the Catholics were getting pissed over something they knew nothing about. Basically, the priest was reminded of the movie and remembered that it had been protested when he was a kid. So he…
Why is Cookie Monster, of all people, the one that reminds me the pain that game ended up causing me? The life of a Browns (and I suppose Bills) fan..
As another Indians fan, it's tough to justify. I have a frequently worn shirt that has a big Chief Wahoo, so I guess I've been able to compartmentalize the fact that it is fairly racist. Whenever I think about it, I feel like I shouldn't wear it anymore, but I still do.
Yeah, lord knows I've got my own set of crazy, so that doesn't rule her out.
That's fair and definitely somewhat perceptive. When we first met, I liked her a lot,and I honestly didn't see what the big deal was and why she was such a talking point in her family. (People saying "That's just Prudence being Prudence" and the like.)
I'm hours late to this, but I have a story/question for Dik or anyone else.
Yeah, I always thought Empire was much harder. I made it to the last level of the first one and actually beat Return of the Jedi a few times. But I don't think I ever got past the caves on Hoth.
Both were run by a bunch of incompetents who didn't care, until Coach and Mrs. Coach turned things around.
I'm pretty sure it's more fat making him look bigger/thicker. I remember hearing that for Rambo 2 he was at something insane like 4% body fat. Obviously, that's unrealistic at his current age.
