Good. I love the idea of that show.

Is it weird that that Cheetos newswire makes me very very nervous? I like spicy snacks as much as the next gal, but what the fuck does that have to do with pop culture? OK, I'm really on edge thanks to this redesign and any hint of mission creep is causing me to panic.
ARROW'D
Huh. Of course.
And it's gotten good ratings so far! It takes a long time for the industry to abandon their assumptions, but hopefully this is a step in the right direction towards reminding them that diversity can sell. If they haven't learned that yet from Scandal, but they are REALLY slow.
And they just introduced a black woman, Amanda Waller. But that casting shows the CW's body issues considering that I guess her character was much heavier in the comics.
Thanks!
Just tried to make my review as meta as possible, in the spirit of things.
And we also get enough of that theme with Abed and the Dreamatorium. He's the one that would happen to, if it was anyone. Which is why I think it's so funny that he's so intuitive about what's going in around him in Paradigms and CU.
When I used D&D as an example, I thought of that one as well. It's been a while since I've watched it. I think it's at least another example of bonding by swapping stories. They also have Halloween scary story-telling in common, which is a cultural tradition that unites people, as they all do. In that one,…
"It was all a dream" is a weird trope but I like the idea that these particular people had so many problems that they specifically would've imagined Greendale for escape. Plus that scene at the sanitarium was so great that I wanted more. Still, ya, that kind of turn would've been overboard and derivative.
I loved the whole kicked out of Greendale idea with the casseroles at the apartment and the late night T&A in the Morning (Ha). I liked the vibe; it was homey.
Discussion Topic (if anyone wants one):
What would your reaction have been if the sanitarium reality was proved to be legit? Do you think it would've been creative? A betrayal?
Ah the therapist trope. I do like it generally, despite the fact that it can be a writers crutch. I thought it worked well because it was a catalyst of the discussion amongst the group but they really drove the conversation. Him saying that Abed should be committed was big but it wasn't the usual thing where it was…
I should be overlord regardless because that sounds fun.
I tried. It was written via touch-typing on an ipad so be kind.
Shirley: aw!
Storytelling in Curriculum Unavailable - Season 3 Review
Buffy the…Ass Slayer? Ha.
Yay Spartacus alums but boo based on that character description. CW, I have such a love/hate relationship with you.
