I usually can't abide my fellow librarian's attempts at being cool or hip.  This was not so bad.

I looooooved this movie.  I saw it at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival and got a chance to meet the Solondz and Jordan Gelber.  Nice guys.

1999?  Really?  Fuck I'm old.

This show totally helps me on a regular basis
I've moved dozens of times over the years, so I like to think that I keep the crap down to a minimum, but sometimes things start getting a little messy around the place. Every time that this happens, or the bathroom starts to get disgusting, then I watch an episode of

Bloomington Indiana, REPRESENT!

Gotta make sure that all of the lady hipster d-bags can menstruate in a totally new 2.0 fashion. Now I all we need is an iWank and I'll be set for life.

This album is great! Those who can't listen to music without hashing through the musician's personal shit can all fuck off….fucking hipster d-bags. I love Ryan Adams music, even though he is supposedly a dick. I can't stand to listen to the Dave Matthews Band, and it is quite possible that those guys are a lot of

Passion of the Christ is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It helped seeing it with a friend who would say "Jesus Christ!" after each brutal flogging.

No Son Volt? HERESY!

Hey HCE: I was at that Bloomington show, and it was quite amazing. (thank god for Secretly Canadian and Jagjaguwar for being in Bloomington… we've had a bunch of good shows since they've been putting out albums). The BLK JKS ep spent a lot of time in my cd player this summer, and I'm hoping that this album is just

There is just something weird
about playing with my wii whilst wanking it to JC.

Sounds like all he needed
was a shot in the arm. Something in his veins bloodier than blood.

Come on! Where's the Winger news? Nothin' sez metal like some Winger. Fucking posers.

Bjork
Four pages and no Bjork threads? Hmmm. Maybe I was the only one who had not really liked her stuff, then saw "Dancer in the Dark" and sometime during that film, her music starts making sense to me. Now, I would put her in my top 50.

The Hag Live
I saw The Hag live about four years ago, and it was one of the best nights of my life. I was one of the few people in the crowd who wasn't an AARP member, nor was I wearing a NASCAR hat or any camouflage clothing. However, the show was awesome, and the best part is how it ended. The Hag goes up to the

One Bad Pig
Not too many of you hipsters know this bit of JC trivia. As a "Christian Rock" kid in the early 1990s, I was so very excited to hear Mr. Johnny Cash play with Christian Punk band: One Bad Pig. Check it out on their "I Scream Sunday" (1991) album. The .mp3 can be easily found. http://www.onebadpig.com

Come on!
It can't be any worse than Crash.
