@avclub-e129a878f7b0e5aa9ac09e0282f64ea6:disqus : I will give up dark T-shirts when hell freezes over. I tried growing a beard, but it itches horribly, so I stick to being clean-shaven. And may cargo pants/shorts never die!

To this day I'm still surprised that neither he nor Cameron Diaz died in "Gangs of New York". In movies like that usually one half of a couple doesn't survive.

I loved the Spanish-language posters for Ron Howard movies in Michael's OC office, particularly the one for "The Dilemma", which has a long title translating roughly as, "Two men, one man sees a woman with a man who is not the first man. What should he do? Should he tell him?"

I know, right? Every time he misspelled it, I was like, "ugh, do your homework!"

Was this the girl who giggled at "callipygian" (having shapely buttocks)?

How do you do a sequel to Bad Santa? Where do you take the story? I would be more interested in seeing a prequel, showing how Willie and Marcus first met, how they came up with the mall robbery scheme that they repeat year after year in different cities, and how Willie became more and more of an incompetent drunk as

@PhonyPope:disqus : Yes, but my movie wouldn't be a *Christmas* present!

More like Canadian Mary, eh? Eh?

Justin Lin first came on the scene with "Better Luck Tomorrow", a decidedly smaller-scale and more personal story than the "Fast" franchise to which he fixed his wagon. One thing we learned from it is that where he goes, Han Seoul-Oh will follow.

"Dawn" is his only movie that I enjoyed. Worth it for the "killing time to Richard Cheese" montage alone.

And the twist is… No one ever liked your movies!

I'd want a $130 million movie to star in for Christmas, but the joke's on me… I'm Jewish!

Interviewer: Your father was a legend.
Paloma Fineman (Janeane Garofalo): Yeah, well, where I grew up there were a lot of legends, and not a lot of fathers.

Jaden: Dad bless you!

I swallow, I swallow, I swallow, I swallow…
Be.. aggressive! B-E-Aggressive! B-E-A-G-G-R-E-S-S-I-V-E!

Huh… Thought that was a dude. The two girls on the left, then.

The two girls in that picture REALLY look like Lauren Graham and Tea Leoni.

Ohhh… Yeah, that's VERY good.

Is a 16.2 Nielsen rating good or bad? I don't understand how they work.

You do realize that with the middle paragraph, you pretty much just wrote the movie for them?
