Wow, did not expect to see the A.V. Club covering this band, even though I'm pretty sure they are gonna blow up like Kings of Leon soon (which may be an insult in the eyes of alot of folks here at the ol' AV Club, but eff you all, I dig KoL).

seconded, I only care about this because my dreamgirl Gina Carano is in this. And there was nary a mention of her in the review, so that does not bode well for her character development.

The Kid with the Golden Dong was my favorite Judy Bloom novel.

OK was I the only person who loved this episode more than most because I'd just beaten Bioshock: Infinite a couple days ago? Roger's speech about "The Doorway" and Infinite's Sea of Doors idea were ridiculously similar. And the Doorman having a heart attack and "dying" one second, then totally being fine after a quick

Ya I think only The Walking Dead (which is kinda mediocre) and Game of Thrones (which is the best) are the only worthy Event TV shows left.

Everyone and their mother loved this episode to death and I still felt pretty meh about it. I can't even explain why it rang hollow exactly either.

Well that  was weird. The whole episode felt pretty damn off until we got to the big Jeff Winger speech (which was good and laid the groundwork for this "final" season). There was just no real rhythm to the episode and they crammed in way too many genre parodies for seemingly no reason. The nifty one-liners

agreed, about the Hotness. I was trying to figure out what changed about her here… I'm thinking longer hair and more boobs? Then again, that's always the solution.

woah this is way too spot on. Its just like when they did Scrubs: the new class (minus Eliza Coupe's awesomeness)

BUT THEY'RE STILL PLAYING BOTH COACHELLA SATURDAYS RIGHT?

Wow, definitely didn't know there was a countdown until I saw that 6 Folder (and then recalled the 10 on Robin's jacket). It actually makes the episode much better if you were too busy looking for those little details to think about the major dark twist that seemed more and more obvious by the end. This was an A/ A-

Holy hell, as someone whose lived in Orange County, California for the last 6 years and been in the Fraternity/Bar scene: this episode and its focus really hit home. Even more so now that I'm 26 ouch.

Oh and the show is also inspiring. I'm definitely trying the Naked Man next time things go, uh, South.

Still in the midst of my marathon, but I had to stop to say that this is the best episode of the show since "Slapbet" and may in fact be better. The cutaway jokes, the 50 reasons to have sex, the cute elevator scenes, then Ted's love interest being such an evil tramp, and of course The Naked Man made this basically

CHIEF KEEF SING LOUIE THIS IS SHY RIGHT?

Getting jailed for posing in a video for a Hipster website read primarily by pretentious white people… THAT'S THAT SHIT I DON'T LIKE

I thought this was a legendary episode. Just gotta learn to accept the fact that they always try to force in a new catchphrase and move on.

Just commenting from the future to say that aside from the epic slap at the end (featuring a pause and reversal that anyone could see coming from a mile away), my favorite part was Robin in the kitchen with Lily lecturing her about what she did:

Wow man, you clearly had some bullying issues. Also Barney is often an asshole to everyone, and he goes back into this default mode of his near the end, so its worth it.

Holy crap is it crazy to watch this episode knowing that a giant recession is about to hit them just in the next year. Somehow its retroactively smarter and Bob Saget's narration was way spot on.
