Agreed.  In "Chasing It" Tony berates Carlo that he "should start sucking c-ck" like Vito because he doesn't earn nearly as much.  This is just after Tony accepts that he has to pay his debt to Hesh.  Tony is short on cash flow and could have used Vito.

The comparison to Tony B. never occurred to me.  You make a great point.

That was a great thing for AJ at the time.  He actually worked at a real job and attempted to love and support Blanca and her child. He was becoming an adult. It really seemed to be the only time we saw AJ happy.  He even thought of a non-violent way to get rid of the youths bothering Blanca at her apartment.  If you

I think Chase is saying something  by showing Artie and Charmaine relatively happy and stable at the end of the show.  They safely avoided Tony's orbit.  Everyone else is either dead, in the can, rotting away in a mental facility, or a widow and fatherless.

Loved that one.  You really see Tony's sadness (manifesting itself as anger) over having to kill Vito.

O.K. Here is why "Kaisha"is not as bad as thought and actually kind of awesome:

No, everyone was there because as Carmela said "there is a large FBI contingent there" so everyone was fine to be out in the open.  The after funeral "reception" has everyone raving about the food and Paulie complaining about the price of cauliflower.

I think you are.  Tony and Johnny Sack's relationship was in a pretty good place before this episode especially after Tony doing the Rusty hit for him.  In "Sopranos Home Movies" Tony tells Carmela he "destroyed his relationship with Johnny Sac" by getting her that house.
