Star Wars fandom is much more diffuse and easily ignored. Something about R&M, in the words of Peter Griffin, insists upon itself.

I've read his post at least five times and I still can't begin to understand the point he's trying, apparently quite strenuously, to make.

I hate everything about Rick and Morty except the show, which is great.Reading the article? Hated it. Reading the article about Dan Harmon being a whiny douche about why it takes a long time? Hated it. Anything fandom related? Hate it. But then I watch that trailer, and I'm just like "YESSSSSSSSSS."

Casting Halle Berry was not helpful in that regard. Not that she got the greatest material, but she phone that role in soooooo hard. And she kept showing up to phone it in.

Did someone find enough dump trucks full of cash to convince Jeff Anderson to do that? Last I heard Clerks III was game over.

It's almost as if the NRA doesn't actually stand for what they claim to stand for!

It's no more unreasonable to argue for a complete and total ban than it is to argue that there should be no limits whatsoever on the ability to own or carry a gun.

This is the most hilarious part of this debate. No one is arguing for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment and a ban on private firearm usage (I mean, lots of people believe that, me included, but I recognize that's not a realistic position to take.) All we want is for there to be some reasonable restrictions on "anyone

If you went back to 2010-ish and aired this during SNL, no one would bat an eye, and everyone would laugh at how ridiculous it is.

Gaslighting has taken human form. It has also taken the highest political office in this country. And it has also taken political form as the entire GOP.

So say we all.
