So Miles Teller is embarking on his quest to be the next Shia LeBouf?

Pretty sure that has only not been forgotten because she was wearing a swimsuit int one scene and it gets posted like clockwork whenever she's mentioned.

I'm sad she went from Justified to this show, but hopefully now she can find her way to something more worthy of her.

When the land burns and the sea boils and women are breeding slaves and non-whites are in camps and LGBT people "don't exist," this can be what we point to when we try to make ourselves feel better.

Right. Telecoms got their fiberoptic networks HEAVILY subsidized and regulated because "it's too expensive otherwise and we just can't afford to do it. Please oh please government, step in and make sure we can do this to bring broadband to the people!"

Five year old me in the back yard loved the sound of paint cans and flipped over pots.

Don't worry. We'll get right back to that just as soon as the FCC drops all regulation of the telecom industry so the free market can do its job.

I remember, as a middle schooler, trolling the Hanson discussion boards on AOL and posting about how much more awesome Metallica was.

With respect to NFL teams, specifically, you've set up a bit of a false dichotomy, insofar as the entire country subsidizes the NFL, and especially the local market. It's not possible to not "help pay for" your NFL team, even if you never turn on or go to a game or buy merchandise and vote against every funding

It's like people see "Headline tangentially related to politics" and stop reading.

Now if only we could figure out how to hook Roger Sterling's spinning corpse up to a generator. We'd have power forever!

WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THIS POOR OLD RICH MAN WHOSE LIFE IS BEING UNFAIRLY RUINED!

No, I know, but the fact that the jury was hung is still astonishing given the defense's…well…"defense."

Fox immediately issues a press release denying that sexual assault by a bear had anything to do with it.

"Should've gone to trial. If they can't get Cosby, no way they get me!"
