I feel confident that West Wing, Veep, and House of Cards all scrapped scripts as "too unrealistic" that pale in comparison to the last eight months.

Well, for your family and friends (or customers if you do this for money!), that's great, but I have never seen nor heard of fondant that was in any way better than vaguely unpleasant.
