Catch Romano in the 'unfairly cancelled before its time' "Men of a Certain Age" if you want to see him excel at drama, but not this show.

"I personally love Vinyl."

Sucks big time. Really bummed. RIP Mr. Sandling. You were one-of-a-kind.

I can't even believe this is getting a 2nd season. Really?! The show was better than the last several films Shyamalan directed, but of course that's damning it with faint praise.

The fact that you assume that I think Lee & Perry are the only black directors out there is your problem.

And I should care because…….

You know I screamed almost the exact same thing at the oscar party I was at probably verbatim, but It felt kind of lonely because nobody else at the party understood what the big deal was. :(

Thanks for the correction. Yikes! I actually have a book on the Oscars and for some reason thought Do the Right Thing came out in 1988. No wonder I couldn't find any nominations for it. Lol!!!

I guess I'm also in the minority because I felt the same way you did about this episode. Going to really miss this show.

Obviously I've fallen behind on TGW, but this was one of my favorite episodes in a long while. I laughed, I cried….. and TGW is one of those rare shows where you get a scene like the one between Alicia and Lucca after Alicia's breakdown. A great scene as was the scene between Eli & Alicia at the end. I will miss this

Yes AV Club! Woody Allen's (only?) appearance in 2002 will probably always be my favorite Oscar show memory. I still remember the applause he received. I also remember being one of the only Dave defenders in my crowd the year he hosted. Believe it or not, I actually don't have as many fond oscar memories as I do the

Obviously I'm in the minority here, but I was not enamored of Mad Max: Fury Road. Plus I thought Tom Hardy was pretty terrible. If that movie is what represents the best of last year then I know why I stick to the small screen.
And btw, what Charlotte Ramping said wasn't 'dumb shit'. It was the truth. The

I know I'm late to the party here, but I have to agree. Terrible X-files stand-alone. I have my fingers crossed that the mythology episode that closes out this preciously short 6-episode season will end things with a bang.

Are you serious guys giving the pilot a B? I believe you may have been influenced by the shows pedigree (Scorsese, Terrence Winter & Mick Jaeger). What other reason could there be for grading it so high? It was a train wreck. I'll continue to watch because I love Scorsese, loved the Sopranos and genuinely liked

"this is a messy, conflicted episode, one full of ambition and inspired strangeness, and not all the pieces fit together neatly…."
I agree with the first part of that statement as well as the last part. My roommate & I couldn't have been the only people who hated this episode. For once the readers have it over the

Are you kidding me?! Schwimmer sucks in this! Travolta sucks in this too, but because he's one of the producers I guess nobody involved with the production had the temerity to tell him. Other than that, I'm enjoying this quite a bit. Sarah Paulson gets better and better every time I see her. Love Bruce Greenwood &
