I used to be on the fence about real person fanfiction. I always felt as though it would be judgmental to dismiss the whole thing as creepy.
But I've come around on that one. It really is invasive and messed up.
I know. Some of these fans can read sexual tension and romance into just about any conversation between any two characters, regardless of context, sexuality, or consanguinity.
I can see why it would bother you, but if you think you'd enjoy the show, I'd try to ignore the bad parts of the fandom and check it out regardless.
