At the moment, I'm mostly reading textbooks. Civil law, constitutional law, the works.
I also had the chance to read Idiopathy by Sam Byers which was as bleak as it was hilarious.

Ooh, I loved Under the Banner of Heaven , so engrossing!
How about a happy song about a close bond between a father and son instead?
Agreed. These days, I don't have much of an opinion on Green Day either way and I can definitely see why people might not like them.
How so?
I remember when my mom wanted to hear the CD I'd been listening to for weeks on end and I had to pick which song off of American Idiot would be most suited to her sensibilities. I picked September. She thought it was fine, if somewhat boring.
I dig Insomniac but American Idiot was pretty much the soundtrack of my teen years, delivered to me via discman, so I'm pretty fond of it.
This was less of a commentary on American Idiot than it was an ad hominem attack on Billy Joe Armstrong.
Hey, I hadn't thought of it that way. That's a pretty good theory.
Yeah, good point. She's pretty much the exact opposite of dependable.
O my goodness that's terrible.
Rest in peace, James McNair.
I wish everyone else a speedy recovery.
Wow, you must have way better instincts about these things than I do. I got played right along with Piper.
Hehe, cockroach racing. That's funny/scary.
We used to race crabs on the beach on school trips.
Wow, I had no idea. Thanks for teaching me something new today!
I think Polly and Larry need to come visit Piper in prison and subsequently die in a random drive-by shanking.
That bit really made me wonder. Do cockroaches really have the cerebral capacity needed to be trained?
I related to young Piper so hard in that first episode.
She's like my goodie two-shoes soulmate!
Call me crazy but I friggin' love Cesar Millan.
He has such a chill vibe and optimistic outlook.
That kind of positivity is far too rare on TV if you ask me.
I binged on Supernatural season two with a friend once. We made pizza, got like eight different types of crisps, popcorn and candy, popped in the dvd and watched like ten episodes in one sitting. It was a lot of fun.
Yeah, I doubt I'd be the only one too.
It's just that I've never managed the art of the single tear/stoic sadness type of crying. I'm more the noisy, sobbing type. It's kind of embarrassing, really.
