I think there's a distinction in that Trump was running for president at the time. If Trump was on the show hawking celebrity apprentice or whatever I don't think anyone would have a problem with him being 'normalized'.

I don't see how this is a free speech issue. Nobody has suggested that the government censor the film or arrest people for watching it. A bunch of people have said they will boycott it and bitch about it in the forums that allow them to do so. That is certainly their prerogative.

Turns out if you are insistent enough and can ride out a tantrum or two you can usually get the kid to enjoy other things. We match Samurai Jack and Invader Zim (thanks Hulu!). In retrospect, Invader Zim is pretty goddam dark. Samurai Jack holds up real well.
