Several people have already mentioned "Two Cathedrals" but nobody has brought up "Brothers In Arms" by Dire Straits, which is (to me) one of the most brilliant musical choices to accompany any movie or TV show I've seen. It's a really nice song on its own, and of course the show and episode would have still been

I feel like I'm the only one who noticed this: When Kenny introduces the sky mall robot, it's dancing to the song the nerds perform to win the music battle at the end of Revenge of the Nerds!!

I did not know there was a body dissolving in a bathtub that subsequently fell through the ceiling. THANKS FOR RUINING IT FOR ME, DBAG!!

Agreed. I wanted this to take itself to either more extremes and just be a crazy style movie, like Femme Fatale, or to take itself a little more seriously and allow DePalma's style to invigorate the atmosphere, like Carlito's Way (or something… that's a pretty different kind of movie, but as an example of DePalma

I'm kinda like that, too — I can see his strengths shining through even his worst movies. And some of his films are outright brilliant (granted, most are earlier in his career, not counting Femme Fatale, which is pretty great).

Nice!
These comments are all a little old so I don't know if anyone is reading them much, so I'm just going to mention this here: I'm surprised nobody else really talked about the jingle itself. I think I laughed harder than anything else in the episode every time they all harmonized "The people person's paper

One of my biggest laughs of the season was actually due to the song that plays over the end credits of "Red Hairing"… not sure who is singing (Crewes?) but the lyrics & performance are perfect.

My guess is, now that she's been given more responsibility among the admins, the merger has split her attention and she's been perpetually off trying to organize the chaos of the new office environment.

Hipster — The chart actually inspired me to watch the movie again yesterday. It's less useful to look at it while watching (as it would take you out of the experience too much) but having the movie fresh in mind, I looked at the chart afterwards and it IS helpful. My brother and I figured pretty much everything out,

It's an Auroch. Everybody knows that.

Sorta weird that American Horror Story is essentially in the mini-series category instead of TV dramas, which it technically is. I'm less-familiar with some of the other entries in that category, but competing with Game Change (clearly a movie, even if a made-for-TV one) is awkward.

Anybody notice this episode was written by JACK Burditt & COLLEEN McGuiness?

No mention of Brad Hall, the long-dormant former SNL cast member (during its worst era), and current husband to Julia Louis-Dreyfus, reappearing seemingly out of thin air as the "vaguely Steve Martin lookalike" Wreston St. James?

Sharkweak - the correct term is "chummy."

I'm curious if there was any discussion about the Edward Scissorhands score — which has had so many imitators that I think it could be classified as pretty influential. Bits from that score are still used in commercials and for other movies' trailer's.

Agreed. Makes the gesture of sharing it a day early seem disingenuous.
