I think we're still supposed to understand that Matty and Jenna are a secret. His pulling-her-behind-a-column-but-still-in-plain-view-of-the-entire-courtyard strategy is more effective than you'd think.

Disappointing
This added nothing new to the conversation, and made some of the same straw man arguments spoilerphiles always use. No, spoilers shouldn't be able to entirely ruin an otherwise quality work. Yes, they ARE capable of diminishing someone's first (thus, formative) experience with that material.

The case was wacky but the ending worked for me.
Remember, whether for bias or any other reason, the judge kept letting in all that damning evidence. Plus DNA under the fingernails and rock solid motive is just tough to explain.

Mixed feelings.
I thought the dialogue in particular was especially terrible this week but the major plot developments were all very positive.

Great parallel…
…between Sarah's well-intentioned but inappropriate "no pressure" pressure on Amber re: Berkeley that led to her breakdown when she didn't get in and Coach doing exactly the same thing to Sarah re: her play.

There ARE people you build relationships with around your differences…
they are called enemies.

Last week I wasn't quite on-board with your analysis.
That problem does not exist this week AT ALL. I felt exactly the same way for exactly the reasons you cited. I would just add that Zoidberg's one joke landed very well; as ever, he is strongest in small doses.

Liked the episode but…
The end nearly blew it for me. Felt like a rebuy on the fantastic Leela's Homeworld ending except unearned. I found it cloying and flat.

Good news, everybody!
That half-hour sitcom spin-off with just the guys shooting the shit? It already exists. It's called The Job and it was basically a proto-Rescue Me with a lot of of same cast and writers.
