Thanks. "Illimpain" is what I thought I heard but those three syllables didn't register as the name of a character I remembered. I had to look him up just now. And I thought I was being attentive!

Did anyone catch Arya's hit list? All I heard was garbling for most of it.
Does anyone else think each episode this season has suffered from being too fractured? I don't feel like I'm getting enough at the end of the hour, and not just because I love it so much and want it to nevererver end. It's because every episode is a 6-minute update on what each of ten main characters are doing and you…
You know…that girl has a nice voice when she's not trying to be ironic. Shame.
www.pajiba.com refers to Channing Tatum as "Charming Potato." Seems appropriate: nice, somewhat nutritious, but, you know…a potato.
@Lux Lisbon, in my high school yearbook, I quoted both Dashboard Confessional and Andrew W.K.
I think for people who just got started in the new run, like me, Tennant was the one who helped them grow to love the show. Eccleston was good and a lot of fun, but 10 was the one to foster a near-religious devotion to Nu-Who. That being said, as far as the character himself goes, I think Smith has done the best job…
I swear to god, the first time I saw this trailer I thought it was a joke. Even with all the praise I'm still thinking, "Is this movie serious?".
NCIS would be bearable if the characters would just stop ribbing each other in the broadest, basest, most obvious way possible. Its like saying, hey, these faux-police working for some kind of fake-sounding government agency led only by a guy with a terrible haircut and featuring your token goth chick are INTERESTING…
Which brings me to a great cost-effective production idea that I'm sure buck would love: Just have Dexter internally monologue whatever happened to him in the past few days while he does his grocery shopping for 55 minutes.
The VO was one of the worst offenders this season. Last night when he said "He's robbing them!" I almost threw my remote and yelled "NO SHIT VOICEOVER SHERLOCK" until I realized it was to set up "…and I have nothing to give."
The first two seasons are so fun that the goodwill rides on for another two seasons. Then it runs out.
Oh I know, and I didn't mean to say anything about continuity. I was just saying that it was another example of how the writers have been straining common sense for the sake of set pieces. To draw a comparison with a real cop show, do you think the Baltimore PD on the The Wire would have let some kid who knew where to…
And I hope he does some really cold shit like telling her Doaks wasn't the Bay Harbor Butcher when she's on the table. Dexter is a psychopath who slakes his bloodlust on the least likely to be missed, not a vigilante hero.
Also, someone comes into the police station saying they have information on the serial killer du jour, and the guy sits her down like she's in a fucking dentist's office? Um, no, you throw her in a room with a detective, any detective, because there must be more than just three in Miami Metro, right?
I can't wait until LaGuerta kills someone to become mayor or whatever the fuck so Dexter can finally get the kill everyone really wants to see. This cartoon villain bullshit is insufferable.
Fun facts: The exterior shots were at my high school (YEAH PREP '03) which was fun to see. They even got the muttery drunken fight song mostly right. It was only after this that I learned Mac is a St. Joe's Prep grad, which mad me very proud. Additional fun facts: they kinda got around the whole "all-boys school"…
You. Me. There can be only one.
No Doctor Who. List invalid.
Agreed with Crimins. The Doctor is most afraid of himself. I don't even think it could have been River, who purportedly kills the Doctor, because for as much as the Doctor likes to avoid dying, he's said on more than one occasion that he's lived entirely too long and people like him just do more harm than good.
