My dear mother loves Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein. My take on it is pretty similar to mratfink, it is like an episode of Scooby-Doo.

Being Ron Swanson would have also been an acceptable answer.

"Yeah, I miss Community too. Get over it."

I always "hear" your posts in Lance Reddick's voice and it's basically the greatest thing. Talking about being hungover more so for some reason.

It's hard to be less dickish when a showrunner doesn't understand why people think racist caricatures are bad and then says one reporter has a sexual problem because he has an Irish sounding name.

Well, it's doing a pretty good job of destroying itself.

Network executives who are out of touch with reality and don't actually watch tv making programming decisions based solely on formula of past shows and what the largest number of people possible will watch without regard for the actual quality of what is being made.

I don’t hate the Dutch. I love the Dutch. That’s why I hold them to a higher standard.

This years TCAs have shown me out crazy out of touch pretty much a majority of all these television network people are.

It is a terrible terrible show that kind of hates women, pretending to be a bland show about Friends The Next Generation.

The TCAs have really shown me how out of touch with reality the people running network tv are.

It's the south.

Yes, this. I said NBC's Thursday night was going to fall apart in 2 years the moment the Whitney trailer was released, and I pretty much stand by that time frame.

Of course the amount of crap Simpsons about outweighs the amount of good Simpsons at this point, so you really shouldn't be surprised that to a lot of people of a certain age who are not tv geeks, the Simpsons probably is "just a stupid cartoon show".

It doesn't tell me when to laugh and is too weird.

I love Parks (more than Community, but hey, good programming is good programming and what the hell nbc?) but I've never really been too worried about it. Enough people working on it have past history with nbc that I figured they would be okay enough to not randomly get pulled mid season.

Season 1 isn't the best the show is capable of, but the finale for season 1 is pretty awesome and worth watching the previous episodes for.

This is kind of how I feel. Some people have said that 30 Rock has had a noticeable drop in quality, but I don't really think it has. I'm just kind of tired of watching it, and like you, by the time it was on hiatus this fall I wasn't really missing it.

You are James Franco, and he is deconstructing playing you by being James Franco playing himself.
