Agreed. They should just send the clip of Sideshow Bob getting hit in the face with all those rakes into outer space. It's the most efficient way of teaching the ETs about life on Earth ever made.

What, no Boris the Spider ;)

I love Maximum R&B. Its a mood thing. Sometimes "Young Man Blues", is just right, sometimes it's "Can't Explain", etc. For what it's worth, I think their version of "British band inspired by and cribbing off of Black American Blues" was the best among their peer, with the exception possibly of Cream-era Clapton.

Responsible or not, the guilt is still overwhelming, to the point where any incident, even as severe as telling a child he was never born, would be magnified a hundred times in her mind. (I mean, Kevin doesn't remember that, he was an infant, for pete's sake.) However, if Eva's comment was symbolic of her overall lack

Ha ha! The full name is a feckless attempt to curry favor. taken from memo written by my boss. Apparently three letters too long for Disqus. Alas.

Friends, I don't know much about anything, but this much I do know: Life gets just a little sweeter when your 6 year-old picks a volume of your Calvin & Hobbes Complete treasury and starts reading. Top 5 on the list of "proud parent" moments.

Alan Thicke in Toronto would have killed no matter what, but I'm sure it was amazing.

The last scene is one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever. It's a motion PICTURE, enough with all the talking, ya know?
Also, the issue of making food look good on film: It's not just the cost, but to actually make it look beautiful, they often have to add inedible and/or incompatible ingredients most of the time,

Agreed. I am impressed that they are sticking with this theme for as long as they have. It would have been tempting to wrap it up in one ep. with a "awww, c'mon Crosby." But, not this show.

Is this a good week then to add Bill Burr's podcast to my weekly download list? It's been on my radar, just haven't pulled the trigger yet…

Really? I always have liked Kyle better and find him to be far funnier than Jack most of the time. Still gonna have to give this one a listen.

This reminds me of that scene in "While You Were Sleeping" when the paperboy throws the paper from his bicycle and biffs it on the ice. I always assumed this was an accident, but was too brilliant to waste. Any truth to that?

It's funny, at first blush it appears that a director  like Fincher micromanages the happy accidents out of everything, but doesn't his technique involve making very slight changes to props, lighting, etc., perhaps implying that there might be a "better" way to do a scene than he had originally conceived? He kind of

The Braverman compound is my favorite thing about this show. They can't sell it!
By the way, the smart money is on Camille dying, not Zeke. That would be devastating and amazing to watch this cast react to something like that.

Yes! Max and Hank are the happiest accident on this show yet. Great chemistry (or, you know, total lack of chemistry)

They keep getting better, especially Monica Potter. They are completely dialed in right now.

Duly noted. Plus, great Lynchian anecdote!

The man is 87 years old, people. Eighty-seven! When you turn 87, let's see how you're doing, hmmm?

That's because you (and I) are old.

Nah, HDS, Eastwood, and Morgan Freeman will outlive us all. (Knocking on wood)
