What I don't understand is why no one knows that all of this is completely predictable and relatively normal, especially when kids are removed from their homes and placed with strangers. Not the kid's problem that Julia and Joel don't know anything about developmental grief, PTSD, Reactive attachment, addicted family

This is the right answer.

As much as the hair shaving scene should all but seal the Emmy for Monica Potter, I think the best acting she (and Krause) did was the scene when he came home with the wig. It's the kind of thing this show does all the time, but they have absolutely perfected it. It's like watching one of those Connors-McEnroe tennis

TV will be fine. The upfronts are just a few months away, and there's always some show that comes out of nowhere in the fall that "changes everything" or whatever.

Oops. This was a reply to my previous post. This is the way I've always seen it, too, which is much funnier really. It really is this tyrannical hierarchy of elves up there at the North Pole. Yet, the women are really in charge of getting things done, like the Kramdens or the Flintstones in the 50s-60s.

Yeah, sure, but you have to check out #47 on BYU's defense. They found him in Ghana when he converted and he showed up on campus, they basically taught him football the first time he put on the pads. He's a beast, projected first-rounder!

So, the head elf changing his voice when the elves rehearsed their song for Santa:
Intentional or unintentional?

I meant simpler for me, not for them ;) Of course, Lily has a kid, so that kind of trumps fighting vampires half the time…

Haven't watched it yet; just wanted to comment on that adorable photo of "Willow" and "Oz", together again.

The ironic thing about "older" by TMGB is that Linnell and Flansburgh seem to be aging in reverse.
Great list, by the way. (Yeah, I'm old)
