Ashley Judd may not be running for Senate, but when Mecha-Judd rises from the deep to destroy the East coast, we will wish she had.

I give this Newswire 5 swims.

I saw Springsteen at Bonnaroo a few years ago and though I'm not really familiar with his work, the atmosphere certainly carried my enthusiasm quite a bit further than a "regular" concert. Additionally, I think it's because Springsteen keeps a really high

That's actually…better.

@avclub-ad45e11f2e88b8963920c79cd1d8755e:disqus : Oh man, you missed a killer ending. I was a bit of an emotional wreck for a few days.

That…is…awesome.

@avclub-792e0da253569bba07b9ea47da49b795:disqus Season 4 WRECKS me. Every time.

I marathon the series about once a year. Still not sure if Season 5 lives up to the previous four seasons, but taken as a whole, it really can't be topped for what it is.

This one's on my list. Might have to bump it up a few places in the queue.

Hell yeah. Both of those count. My sister works in a lab and every time she talks about work I just start singing It's the sooooooound of sciiiiiiiiiiiiience!.

Man, I was raised on Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side, and Dilbert. All three are dear to me and are held in pretty much equal esteem.

It's a comic series that is just now being release in hardcover. It was one of the first comics I read and really got into, so it has a special place in my memory. Is it perfect? I'm probably biased, but damn, if it's not, it's close.

1. Masaki Kobayashi's Harakiri
2. Calvin and Hobbes
3. Rick Remender's Fear Agent

This is a good thing.

I just started Stephen King's Dark Tower series, and I'm about to start re-reading A Game of Thrones. I lost steam around the middle of A Feast for Crows. We'll see how I do this time.

"Even when characters in sci-fi shows aren’t so explicitly the best of the best—like, say, the ragtag crew of Serenity—they all still possess a knowledge base vastly different from our own."

I'm relatively new to comics, but I've been reading Hawkeye, Black Beetle, FF, USM, and SSM pretty regularly, and I like 'em!

And super-nerds with "Misty Mountain Hobbit."

@avclub-776e9111d31a090979dd9fc5f382651c:disqus : They'll say that at first, but public outcries will force them to return to 90 proof classic rock.

Man, I hope Jack White is a huge conspiracy theorist. That would just make sense.
