@avclub-ae1846aa63a2c9a5b1d528b1a1d507f7:disqus New England Brewing Co makes it and they only distribute to a handful of states (CT, FL, NY and until recently MA). You could probably trade for it reasonably easy.

Yes, indeed. The Inspectress and I used to do San Francisco with maybe a day trip to Santa Rosa on our NorCal visits, but we like Russian River (and nearby breweries like Lagunitas and Bear Republic) so much that these days we make it a point to spend as much time in Santa Rosa as SF.

@randys_donuts:disqus You had me at Oldfield's Happy Hour. Seven Grand-quality cocktails at dive bar prices! Schlepping east of the westside at rush hour is admittedly what kept me from hitting the last AV meetup.

@avclub-5351e766da507432ba6af62865e2488b:disqus You have to get a little lucky with your timing to find it, but it's produced regularly so certainly not impossible. Depends on where in the state she'll be as well - definitely easier in the Bay Area than down here in LA.

I'm not as crazy about Zombie Dust as everyone else seems to be, but that's primarily because it's entirely Citra hops and I'm not the biggest Citra fan, at least when it's used as a single hop. Which is just as well, it saves me the trouble of chasing delivery trucks to find a bottle when I visit Chicago.

Yeah, I thought it was a decent enough IPA (better than the 17th), though if you go into it looking for a lot of coconut flavor you'll be disappointed. The Bruery recently released a beer called Humulus Palm, a coconut india pale lager, which I thought was a better take on the same concept.

Midnight Sun TREAT Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter has become my favorite in recent years. Tough to find but absolutely worth it.

They don't bottle Younger, and they stopped doing growler fills (and it only comes out in February) so if it'll have to be Elder. Which in all honesty I like nearly as much as Younger so it'll still be an awesome pickup if she can find a bottle.

College football is a reasonable way to pass the time until college basketball season.

You fixed her cable?

How many people showed up to the last one? I came close to trekking out, but got lazy at the last minute.

BEER THREAD!

Ha, you've given F ratings to every episode this season (yet are still promptly tuning in every week) but Donna's the one who's predictable. Right.

Because America.

I'm actually more interested in how Jesse learns about Jane. I suppose there's a chance he may never find out, but it was such an enormous character trajectory moment for both he and Walt that I can't imagine it would go undiscovered.

I dunno, is ratting out a child poisoner really any worse than aiding and covering up for a child poisoner?

Great callback to the pilot, which featured an earnest and remorseful Walter White video confession, to one that is at this point in his decline, pure, artful, detestable bullshit.

@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus This is a somewhat minor point and several days after the discussion, but the line "you know what I mean" was actually a very precisely chosen, provocative and (IMO) canny line.

Bruges is one of the nicest places I've ever been to! Beautiful canals and bridges, romantic, amazing beer, this place. Fuck off, Colin Ferrell!

I'm personally much more interested in how much sweet, sexy craft beer we see in this movie. Seriously, the main reason this film has been on my radar was because of scenes being filmed and set at Revolution, Three Floyds and Half Acre Brewing.
