I just lost it a moment ago when Ian Ziering jumped inside the shark and chainsawed his way out.
Almost literally zero chance of any Oscar attention, but certainly one of my favorites so far. It's such an absorbing experience and Carruth does so well at creating a unique, palpable atmosphere, that even if you find the obliqueness unapproachable (if just on first or second watch), it's still such an engaging film.

Grand Rapids probably, though that's kind of a stretch given both the distance to and size of GR.
I passed through it, mainly to visit New Holland Brewery. It's a perfectly charming town with a pleasant old fashioned Main Street USA downtown, but people are almost creepily friendly. I could see it making for a good thriller setting.
It really is legendarily one of the worst reviews of all time. Full of descriptions of the plot like, "Vampires circle the moon and suck the hot stud's blood," which, while it sounds fascinating for a certain core demographic, is in no way something that actually happens at any point in the movie.
"Complex without being overwhelming" could be stamped on the label of pretty much every new Dogfish Head release these days.
Why would you name any beer Industrial ____? I get that they're probably going for the use in the sense of "industrial strength," but still the connotations are terrible.
