One of my trips to London was on the day of the 2005 Live 8 Concert, and I could hear Paul McCartney and U2 from the window of my hotel near Hyde Park.  It was interesting how ubiquitous the show was - every bar you went into, every shop you walked pass, people were tuned to Live 8.
