Oh shit, I read that every night too, and I can't figure out why. It feels basically like a hipster Archie at this point, a comic I followed every month when I was a kid inexplicably: it's not especially funny, compelling or dramatic, but for reasons beyond me I continue to compulsively check in each evening.

I'm all for an Arab-American superhero, especially being a Pakistani-American myself. But the problem for me is that virtually every superhero is taken by the authorities to be a crazed vigilante/terrorist/potential threat to the government.

ABC's Wipeout. I'm way past the point when I can claim that morbid curiosity about the state of John Henson's career is making me tune in. At this point it's simply tapped into the "man-fall-down" seeking part of my brain and refused to relinquish its hold.

I don't know how Soap came up but I'm always happy to talk about it - my girlfriend and I have been going through the entire series, and we're halfway through the final season currently.
