Saddest episode of New Girl yet. Thought I was over mourning the death of newspapers, but I guess not :(

Only started watching the show a few weeks ago (and jumped on here to try find a review of episode 14, season 1 - the school dance ep, 'cos Barry's gremlins question was one of the funniest scenes I've ever watched on tv and the fact he was busting Murray's balls made it all the funnier.) Anyway, like so many others I

Just out of curiosity, and taking into account that most of the 2nd half of of the season wasn't reviewed, were there any episodes that you guys think deserved above a C+?

You looked at the grade and THAT informed your decision on watching? Judging by past episodes, I could understand you watching if it received a D or even a C, but and A- would have made me not bother.

So basically it's going to become like Stars Wars with ships? Maybe there can be a spinoff called 'Starship Troopers' unless someone uses that name first.

I would have thought it wise for you to stay as far away as possible from the topic of rape, considering how badly you misread that part of the plot in last weeks episode.
I'm talking about your plot hole spiel, where point 5 was about Vane not speaking up to say that he didn't cause the rape, totally missing the fact

"Fifth, we don't know why Vane doesn't speak up to say that he didn't actually cause the rape, even as Eleanor steals his crew."

I thought he might have been injured in the sword fight in the first episode, but he prioritized finding the schedule over getting his wound taken care of/recovering. Or otherwise, he attacked Vane's ship/crew guerrilla style at the end of the episode to slow them down and prevent them causing any more mischief before

Thank you for another review of what I believe to be the most under-rated show currently on TV (or not so currently since this was the season finale making this return to reviewing bittersweet).

In an alternate Universe Merle would have made a great General

Did Andrea running away from the Governor in shlock stock horror fashion remind anyone of the scene in homeland when Carrie runs away from Abu Nazir?

Handing the orderly the money envelope while commenting "one hand washes the other" to feel some level of self-importance was just as funny.
What's he going to get out of it?
Extra servings of dessert?

This was a review of a Sopranos episode?
I thought it was a review of 'Our Town'.

You're all missing the point.
Perry does fight back.
Sure, Tony picks on him because it would make the biggest statement. But also because he knows Perry's a hothead (the point is emphasised many times during the episode) and he wants someone who will actually try and hit him (which Perry does) so he can show he's still

As far as articulation goes, he's already miles ahead of Braverman clan member, Andrew Holt, on 'Parenthood'.

No, the best joke was how they kept on pretending to stop for the hitchhiker, then speeding up again just when he tried grabbing the door handle (it got edited out)

The only thing Michonne hates about the Zombie Apocalypse is that she can't log on to Lolcats no more.

The only thing that could have made the scenes with the hitchhiker
funnier, would have been Benny Hill theme music playing while he chased
the car.
