Me too, and I immediately went back and rewatched it with no diminishing effect.

Part of me wishes the Thanksgiving feast had been at the end of the episode so we could've gotten Barry and Cisco as literal party crashers coming through on top of the table, with awkward hilarity ensuing.
I agree, except this episode had what I think might've been my favorite James moment so far: his small, deflated sigh after Alex shut down his attempt at confession. Brooks didn't overdo it, and it was the subtlety of his disappointment that made it land for me (and also made me laugh).
Amenadiel sitting on Dr. Linda's couch morosely clutching his steering wheel (complete with charred airbag) was a great visual comedy moment.
I'm still holding out hope for a Bart Allen/Impulse appearance
I'm not actively bothered by Iris (even though I do see where people are coming from who are) but I do agree that Flashpoint would have been a fantastic opportunity to tweak her a bit, and instead the only tweaking we got was that she wasn't on good terms with her dad because "drama!" If only their falling out had…
When the guy demanded that they prove they were a band, I said "Sing, Galavant, sing!" out loud and they didn't let me down.
Ah, OK. I guess the level of anger I was remembering seemed more appropriate for "you're the reason my brother isn't alive anymore" than "you're refusing to mess with the timeline to save my brother".
He actually contributed to the team without echoing in this episode by prodding the right people at the right time.
He also tried to go back and make those things better until Jay stopped him.
After watching this episode I have two big questions, one actual and one rhetorical:
- Actual: Didn't Cisco already know about Barry probably being responsible for Dante no longer being alive? I remember him being really upset at Barry in the second episode and I could've sworn that was why…
- Rhetorical: What was the…
Maybe some of them just have PhDs in Horribleness…
Really? How recent was that interview? Because I haven't seen any indication of lingering feelings in his performance (and I've tried to keep an eye out for any signs because I really didn't like Lovesick Winn but love his character since, so I've been wary of a return). He seemed to be encouraging James to pursue…
Reminded me a bit of how easily "Lex Luthor" was able to access then completely control the Kryptonian ship in BvS. In both cases my reaction was "Really? That's the height of this advanced civilization's security protocols?"
And he's one of the most sensible and level-headed characters (in spite of the fact that his recent backstory would give him a decent excuse to be the opposite), like when everyone was outraged about Oliver and he was all "guys I know this is upsetting but big picture, there's a city that needs saving right now".…
All of the above, plus her enthusiastic demonstration of the blood-as-champagne comparison
Alex's finger threat reminded me in the best possible way of Firefly and Wash's claim that Zoe could kill him with her pinky.
Of course it was inevitable that Mon-El would at some point fall hard for Kara (and not just because the rules of story dictate it, but because it’s KARA, how could he not).
You calling Jeremiah "The Phantom of the Cadmus" legitimately made me giggle
1. I would absolutely pay a premium price to go on Lucifer's Guided Tour of Los Angeles
2. Maze's glee as she snapped a picture of Amenadiel's face was ridiculously infectious
3. Despite the worthy competition, I think Ella may have stealthily claimed the title of My Favorite Character.
