If anyone is interested in reading Self, or has read Self and is still interested, I suggest you read Orlando by Virigina Woolf. Orlando is essentially the same premise. While Martel is certainly a great writer, I personally hold that Woolf is much better. She writes about serious things in a lighthearted way…
