Screaming vocals normally just completely turn me off of a band, but Fucked Up has been so acclaimed I gave them a chance, and holy shit. They definitely know how to make it work

Hey…
It's Paul Kinsey! Is that commenter with the Kinsey gimmick still around?

That AIDS burger scene from one of those first season eps is without question my favorite scene of the entire season. I still like Nelsan Ellis's performance, but if the writers couldn't come up with anything better for the character to do than they have these past three years they should've just killed him off like

Come On Marlon…
You were in Requiem For a Dream, man!

Note: Suit pun not intentional, although appropriate

Jon Hamm was the first person that popped into my head, and I honestly can't think of anybody better suited

I was pretty excited about it beforehand, but I kind of agree with the B rating. I always like Sean Price, but like Nathan said, Guilty Simpson is really only effective for a verse or two at a time, and I think this is probably the weakest collection of beats that Black Milk has turned out yet. Still a few tracks

Yeah, I've never been a huge Springsteen fan, but reading this news this morning really made me weirdly depressed. Definitely a big talent who will be missed

Regardless of the quality of the dialogue itself between the two, I think we can all agree that the English cast is pretty uniformly fucking excellent, which is pretty rare for this kind of thing.

I don't personally speak Japanese so I could be wrong, but Cowboy Bebop has a pretty solid reputation as having one of the best/most accurate English dubs of any anime series.

I get what they were going for by including Edge in the movie since his style is so unique, but yeah in terms of actual guitar playing skills Page and White blow him out of the water.

Dov Charney
So, I was pretty wary of a new James Adomian character after that Alan Rickman episode was such a spectacular failure, but holy fuck was his Dov Charney hilarious. Really hope that one comes back.

Also a great villain for Sons of Anarchy. Her performance is actually pretty over the top, but it fits well with the show I think.

@ Joe Jackson, yeah that was great. My favorite part was the fact that he actually managed to get right next to Sarah Palin, microphone in hand, and just asked her where the bus was.

She's on there pretty rarely (once, maybe twice a month or so), but I doubt that's them backing off because they realized she's not funny so much as a consequence of her being increasingly busy. That said, yeah, she's pretty painful whenever she's on there, although I think she's slightly better at taped stuff than

Good Call
I'm glad you made that point about how different Gordon Ramsay comes across on British TV. I caught the original Kitchen Nightmares a couple times on BBC America, and it's kind of incredible how much more genuine he comes across on that one. Yes, he still curses constantly and he's certainly honest, but it

Sean Penn
I've always thought Sean Penn's complete loss of a sense of humor is one of the biggest acting tragedies of the past couple decades. Fast Times is a pretty fun movie and all, but Penn's Spicoli is on some next level shit.

@sarCCastro: True, I think I was as crushed as Landry when we found that out

Sadly, the actual Crucifictorious as portrayed on FNL would probably not fall under the category of an awesome band.

Agreed. I really liked their appearances in the first season (the Eccleston one, just to be clear), both in the single Dalek episode and the finale with like a billion of them, but that was the only time I really found them effective, at least in the reboot. And yeah, it doesn't help that the Daleks in Manhattan
