Alright cool, good to know. I've kind of been wavering back and forth about whether to read first or just let it play out on TV, but Amazon has a box set of all 4 for like 19 bucks, so I just couldn't resist getting them.

Wait, so is 4 bad? I'm planning on catching up with the books between season 1 and 2, so I was curious if the series lost momentum at any point

I agree; outside of the first Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream, I'm not a huge fan of the guy, but the meta Nightmare on Elm Street, which for some reason I'm totally blanking on the name of, is by far the best of those movies after the original (in my opinion anyway).

Holy shit
Aimee Teegarden is in this? Good for her!

^Good thing comedy is totally objective, therefore you must be right.

I do think it's true that it's never been more than an average sitcom content-wise, but in my opinion there was just some inexplicable spark the show used to have that seems almost totally gone now. Again, it's not really something in particular I can put my finger on, there's just something missing.

Yeah, I really did love it for most of last year, but this is now getting to be one of those shows for me where I only think to watch it if I get super bored. It just feels like nobody's trying anymore (in the writers room anyway, the actors are all doing as good a job as they can with it I guess).

Yeah Pitchfork's score was kind of baffling given the review that went with it. I literally think it's just that they don't want to give more than one "Best New Music" rating out per week and they already gave it to Panda Bear yesterday.

@trilobiter: Handjobs all around

I've actually never been too crazy abou The Bends. When I listen to it, I appreciate that it's very well done stuff but I just can't bring myself to love it whole-heartedly the way I do OK Computer or In Rainbows.

In addition to being a relevant firstie, I do believe that was actually my first firstie of all time. So this is turning into a real winner of a day I guess

I OBJECT!
I love Radiohead and I'll gladly fuck on the first date.

Well…
I was kind of hoping Ron Howard would use all that Da Vinci Code money to build a time machine, then cast Clint Eastwood from 35 years ago, but I guess this'll do.

Still…
As much as I am totally uninterested in this show, it is possible that it turns into something worth watching down the line. After all, Spartacus had a pretty bad first few episodes before turning into a show that is, in my opinion anyway, pretty damn entertaining (if certainly not high art). Still though,

I actually don't think it's a good idea for Will Arnett to try to go leading man. I think he's absolutely the best right now at that insane/asshole supporting character type deal (Gob, his character on Todd Margaret, etc.), but a big part of the reason Running Wilde didn't work creatively I think is that he just

Wow, double trolled already. Clearly a successful thread

Donald Glover…
Is indeed amazing. I'm going to see him in May for a split Childish Gambino/comedy show, which I'm expecting to be pretty awesome.

Why…
What's the point of falsely dramatizing the life of Harry Houdini? That was one badass motherfucker, a straight biopic would by far be the most interesting way to go about this.

@pheeze, the album technically doesn't have the track I like, it's a previously released single that didn't make the final cut (or it's attached arbitrarily at the end on the iTunes deluxe version).

Yeah seriously, Lupe sounds so much more like himself on I'm Beaming and Shining Down it only makes the album proper that much more disappointing. For what it's worth I'm Beamin' has one of the best Neptunes beats in recent memory too.
