Did you know…
there are actually people alive who don't even fucking know who Bob Dylan is? He did a concert at my college last weekend (just for the record, his voice was as bad as you'd think it would be, but he and his band still put on a pretty great show), and I was kind of baffled that there were students there

Man, a lot of Conan hate going on here. I agree his stint on the Tonight Show wasn't as great as it could've been, but he's still pretty fuckin awesome.

Nailed them!
Seriously though, fuck Muse.

I could be wrong, but I'm like 90% sure that's the space episode.

Yeah, looking over the full episode list earlier I didn't realize how much of the first half of season 6 (which to be fair, I have yet to rewatch, but I remember being easily my least favorite stretch of episodes) was Matthew Weiner. Like I mentioned earlier, I think Mad Men had definitely colored my memory on how

True, I tend to forget how much Burgess and Green wrote of this show . I think Matthew Weiner likely seems more important to me now in retrospect because he went on to create his own great show.

Question for Todd
Would you say Matthew Weiner is more or less the third most important of the writers the show had? I know he didn't come on until kind of late but I feel like he definitely had a big influence.

I find Patrick Warburton to be pretty much inherently hilarious in anything he participates in, so I enjoy the Johnny Johnson stuff. It's that damn voice of his I guess

Also, speaking of Julie Benz, gotta love how Duffy mentions "that he was worried about her holding her own with the male stars, but that he couldn't hold her hand and "make it easy on her" with them", as if she hasn't had a successful career for at least like 15 years now.

I just saw the first one last year, and it had such a rabid following that I was genuinely surprised by how awful it was. Other than Willem Dafoe completely stealing the movie, I found it pretty worthless. I can kinda see how someone might like it in a so-bad-its-good way, but not for me I guess.

Not that she wasn't a foxy lady on the Whedon shows, but Charisma Carpenter was definitely at peak hotness when she was on Veronica Mars.

Oh yeah, i've always thought Speakerboxxx is way, way more enjoyable than the Love Below. I appreciate what Andre was doing with it, but only like 1/3 of the tracks really come together for me, whereas like you said Speakerboxxx is crazy start to finish. Andre 3000's still an amazing rapper though.

Granted, she's not the best actress in the world but I never found her so bad that it actually bothered me. It helped that she got better as Angel went along too.

Also, he should bonus points for having a Lil Jon produced, Jamie Foxx featuring song that's actually really, really good.

Yeah I was really surprised at how good that album was. Curren$y definitely gets most improved rapper of the decade award, I always thought he was terrible when he was with Lil Wayne.

Yeah it really is pretty incredible. Outkast used to be the best at making super catchy, radio-friendly pop songs that were also genuinely great and Big Boi definitely keeps that going.
As much as I love Andre 3000, I have a hard time seeing him be able to put out a solo album this consistently great.

Hmm…
Don't see the need to remake this at all, but if it must be done then David Fincher and Daniel Craig are kind of perfect for it.

If Charles Schulz were alive, I'd say Peanuts…otherwise, I couldn't miss out on Whedon.

Fail, I guess? I don't quite know what to make of it

I think the question we're all wondering…
But what does Armond White think of Inception?
