You know, my favorite Price is Right games are the ones that haven't been on the show in years. Penny Ante and Superball were terrific; so full of the frenetic energy you'd expect from an arcade. I guess Penny Ante was put down because the machine broke almost constantly, but you'd think that wouldn't be a problem

That game is so freaking easy. Guess $15, $30, and $45 as the prices of the three prizes, and you're golden. That little yodeling bastard might as well have his feet glued to that mountain.

You ever notice in that episode of Futurama with Bob Barker as a guest star, Bender dollar overbids the other Planet Express crew members while they're guessing the price of the tiara? I thought it was a nice subtle nod to the character's dickish behavior.

Wasn't he one of the guys on Hogan's Heroes?

Also, I think Drew's got some personal space issues… they're not as severe as Howie Mandel's, but enough that he'd probably want to keep huge Samoans from picking him up off the ground like they used to do with Bob Barker.

Judging from the April Fool's episode, where the models hosted, it seems like that male model aspires to be much more. I suspect he'll be off that show and in prime time in a couple of years.

This may be of some assistance, if you haven't already seen it.

"Even" Cars? Especially Cars.

"Profitable" and "good" are two entirely different things. What else explains the marathon run of Full House?

I'm just shocked that Burt Ward is even alive. I thought he'd died of an overdose or something. I mean, really, when was the last time he's been on television?

And Drakken! What about Drakken?

And you DIDN'T GO?!

Really? The same Filmation that did Archie and a Star Trek spin-off with all the animation of a Powerpoint presentation?

The Happy Days Gang: Now Fonz-fed for that double-Fonz flavor!

That show had four year old me convinced that the Three Stooges were robots. My father did NOT appreciate it when I told him this.

Lots of cartoons from the early 1980s had a boner for the 1950s. In the way of an example, Saturday Supercade gave Donkey Kong Jr. a Fonz-a-like sidekick AND turned Q*Bert into American Graffiti. Why? Because today's baby boomers were yesterday's nostalgia-crazed television writers.

Those two shows (especially the first ALF but also ALF Tales) were surprisingly good… the series transitioned well to the cartoon format. After all of Gordon's talk of how bizarre his homeworld was, it was nice to actually see it.

The amusing part is that after begging for boobs in an episode of Punky Brewster, actress Soleil Moon-Frye got them in abundance. She had to take a little off the top just to walk without falling over!

Boy, they sure liked their obnoxious horns in the 1970s. What cartoon from that era *didn't* have them in their theme song?

Man, that new cartoon Fox is planning just makes me wince. Axe Cop might be okay, but the Archie parody looks like it'll be entertaining for all of twelve seconds.
